Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!

I have just realized how long it's been since I posted something delicious! Forgive me as I have been buried in the chaos of raising teenagers and moving to a new city! But now that the weather is cooling off and the leaves are dropping, I hope your family is finding a routine and coming back to the table each night for dinner. This chicken recipe has been in my family for many generations and is a true winner for kids and adults. It looks more complicated than it is and I can assure you your kids will want to lick the dish after you have served it because let's face it, any time you combine cereal with butter it is basically CANDY!!!

Prepare your boneless, skinless chicken breasts and set aside. Preheat the oven to 350.

In a wide dish mix together:

1 cup sour cream

2 Tablespoons lemon juice

2 teaspoons Worcestershire Sauce

2 teaspoons garlic salt

1 teaspoon Paprika

1/4 teaspoon pepper

Melt 4 Tablespoons butter and pour in the bottom of your baking dish.

Melt 4 Tablespoons of butter in a mug and set aside.

Crush 4/5 cups of Cornflakes in a shallow dish.

First dip your chicken breasts one at a time in the sour cream mixture and then in the Cornflakes to coat them evenly.

After they have all been coated and placed in the baking dish evenly spoon the remaining butter over the top of the chicken.

Sprinkle a little Paprika over the top.

Bake for 45-50 minutes in a 350 degree oven. I usually serve with baked potatoes and salad! My family begs me to make this and after dinner we all stand around the baking dish fighting over the remnants!

Enjoy!
